About my work

Professor of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, a former Turing Fellow, and recipient of a prestigious ERC Advanced Grant. My work focuses on how robots can learn language, skills, and social behavior through interaction with humans, bridging AI, neuroscience, and cognitive science. I have led major international projects, published extensively, and applied my research in education, healthcare, and assistive technologies — always with a focus on responsible and human-centric AI.
